Nada Surf Announce New Album

Later today we’re announcing that our new album Moon Mirror is coming out on September 13th. It’s our first for New West Records. We wanted our fans to be the first to know about this, thank you so much for listening all these years!

We’re also announcing shows in North America, Europe and the UK (see below), with many more to come. “In Front Of Me Now,” the first single from the record, is now available to stream on all DSPs.

Moon Mirror will be released in a few different configurations, and you’re the first to have a chance to pre-order the record. There’s the standard 11-track LP, CD and digital release, but also some limited-edition, deluxe packages that have extra tracks, cool colored vinyl, and even a flexi disc. All the information is at the bottom of this email.

We’re really excited about this album, and can’t wait to play it for you on tour!

Big love from us,
Nada Surf

October 2021 Tour in France Postponed

So much love,

Dear friends in France,

I can’t believe I’m typing this, just two weeks before our show in Lille, but we’ve just learned that the October tour is being postponed. I have lost count of how many tours we’ve had to move during this pandemic, but this is the hardest one.

We are heartbroken. We really wanted to play these shows. But we have good news: we have a new and longer set of dates in May/June 2022, and our confidence is very high that we’ll be able to take the stage then.

I want to take this opportunity not only to apologize for the cancellation and for effort of any plans you made, but to say that we don’t at all take your loyalty (or that of any of our fans) for granted. You have given us the greatest welcome and support time and time again. None of this would be possible without you. We have gotten to know a great number of you personally but you all mean the world to us. We know how lucky we are.

We’re going to stay positive and hope you can too. Stay safe and healthy and see you in the spring!

so much love,

“Cycle Through” / RSD

We’re super-excited about “Cycle Through,” which is a “Never Not Together” companion collection.

As well as three new songs that there wasn’t room for on the album, it has an orchestra/choir version of “Looking For You,” the extended short-film version of “Just Wait,” and Spanish, French and acoustic takes on “So Much Love.”
It will be available on vinyl exclusively for Record Store Day this coming weekend.
It will be available everywhere physically and digitally later this fall. We’ll make more fuss about it then : ) Meanwhile, enjoy supporting your local record store!

Statement Regarding Nada Surf’s show on Wednesday, March 11 at La Cigale in Paris

Due to the Coronavirus situation in France that forbid all closed events above 1000 people, we decided to maintain Nada Surf concert in Paris on Wednesday, March 11th.
In order to avoid a cancelation or report, the band decided to do two identical shows on the same night : one at 7.00pm and one at 9.15pm.
A first half of the audience will be able to get in for the first show at 7.00pm and the other half for the 9.15pm show.
Those are the timings when the band will get on stage, doors opening for the 7.00pm show will be at 6.00pm and at 8.45pm for the 9.15pm show.
We ask people that are able to be there early to come for the first show so we can guarantee access to the shows for everyone.
Thank you all for your understanding.
